During the tour we will visit the following attractions. After dropping you off at the attraction I can wait for you in the taxi, or I can always accompany you while you look around and offfer some local knowledge.
As we travel between the attractions I will provide free cold bottled water and cold towels to make your journey as comfortable for you as possible.
Angkor Wat is one of the largest monuments to religion ever built and is truly one the wonders of the world. Believed to have been constructed as a temple and mausoleum for King Suryavarman II at the peak of the Khmer empire in the 12th century.
The Bayon vies with Angkor Wat the favorite monument of visitors. the two evoke similar aesthetic responses yet are different in purpose, design, architecture and decoration. Prasat Bayon was built in late 12th century to early 13th century.
The elephants are ridden by servants and princes, and tread as quietly as if they were on an excursive promenade. The steps of even length have no respect for any obstacle. Terrace of the elephants is located in the Royal Square of Angkor Thom.
Ta Prohm Temple
Ta Prohm's state of ruin is a state of beauty, which is investigated with delight and left with regret. Ta Prohm is locating southwest of the East Mebon and east of Angkor Thom. Its outer enclosure is near the corner of Banteay Kdei.
Banteay Kdei Temple
Banteay Kdei has not been restored and allows the visitor to experience what it may have looked like originally. Changes and additions account for is unbalanced layout. Banteay Kdei was built of soft sandstone and many of the galleries have collapsed.
